Terms, refunds and privacy

The AI Visibility Advisory is for private dental practices in Ontario. Storefront Now measures whether the AI assistants we test, listed in each report, name your practice when patients ask for a dentist in your city, reports what we find and why, and writes a plan for your own team or your web person to carry out.

Each month includes a re-measure of how often each AI assistant names your practice, a written report, and a 20-minute call to go through it. The first month also includes an audit of your listings on sites such as Google Business Profile, Yelp and dental directories, and a first action plan.

Prices are in Canadian dollars. We are not currently registered for HST, so none is charged.

This service is advice only. We measure, prioritise and explain. We do not edit your website, your listings, your ads or any of your accounts, and we do not need a login to your website to do our work.

When you become a client we ask for two kinds of access, and nothing broader: manager access to your Google Business Profile, and user access to your Bing Webmaster Tools account once your website is verified there. We use them to read how patients and search engines find you, not to change anything, and you can remove our access at any time. Any other setup, such as a report in Google Analytics, is done by your team from our instructions.

Where a step in the plan needs someone to carry it out, your team or your web person does it. If you would like help with that, we can refer you to someone, and any work they do is agreed between you and them.

We do not write reviews, ask patients for reviews on your behalf, or write patient testimonials. Your obligations under the RCDSO advertising rules remain yours.

We do not control ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google or any other AI system, and none of them publish how they choose which practices to name. We cannot guarantee that any system will name or recommend your practice, or that any result will reach a particular number.

What we do commit to is the measurement, the report, the plan and the call described here, done properly and reported honestly.

AI answers vary between runs, so a single check is a snapshot, not a verdict. Each report says how many runs it is based on.

The AI Visibility Advisory is $500 CAD per month, billed automatically through Stripe on the same day each month.

It is month to month. There is no minimum term.

We give at least 30 days of notice by email before any change to the price.

Your first month is fully refundable until your first report is delivered. Ask and we send it back, no explanation needed.

Once a month's report is delivered, that month is not refundable, because the work is the report and you have it.

If we fail to deliver what a month includes, you get that month back.

This service is advice. Decisions about your practice, and any change made because of our advice, are yours, and we are not liable for the results of acting or not acting on it.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from this service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Cancel any time. Email contact@storefrontnow.ca and we stop billing at the end of the current month. There is no cancellation fee.

When the service ends, we stop measuring and reporting. Reports and plans you already have stay yours.

Reports and plans we produce for you are yours to keep and share. Any change your team makes based on them is yours.

The checking tools and methods we use to produce those reports remain ours.

We will not name you as a client or publish your results without your written permission.

Your practice name, address, website and the services you want patients to find you for, and answers to a handful of questions within about a week of asking. The plan only moves anything if someone on your side carries it out.

Your first report arrives within 5 business days of your first payment and your Google Business Profile access being granted. Bing Webmaster Tools access is added once your website is verified there, and does not delay the first report.

If access is not granted within 14 days of your first payment, we pause billing until it is, or refund your first month if you would rather cancel.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Any dispute about them is decided by the courts of Ontario.

Anything here that does not sit right, raise it before you pay rather than after. We would rather rewrite a line than argue about one.

If you submit the contact form we receive what you typed into it: your name, your email address, your website, and anything you wrote in the message. That is the only personal information this site asks you for.

If you become a client, you sign in to your dashboard with your email address through a one-time link. We keep your account, your reports and plans, and a record of how the dashboard is used.

If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never reach us or this site. We see only the fact that a payment succeeded, and the billing name and email attached to it.

This site runs no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers and no analytics profiling you across other websites.

We use your details to reply to you, run the check you asked for, and deliver and support work you have paid for. Nothing else.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

If you are a client, we send you the reports and alerts your plan includes. If you are not, we do not add you to a mailing list.

A visibility check reads publicly available pages on your website and your public listings, the same pages any patient or search engine can load, and sends general questions such as "best dentist in Markham" to AI systems through their public APIs. We do not need and do not ask for a login to run it.

If you become a client, we ask for manager access to your Google Business Profile and user access to your Bing Webmaster Tools account, and nothing broader. We use them only to read data about your practice, and you can remove our access at any time.

Those questions go to the AI providers we test, and are subject to their own handling of API requests. We never send them your personal details or any patient information, only general questions a patient might ask.

Results are stored so we can show you a trend over time. Reports about your practice are not published or shared, and we will not name you as a client without your written permission.

A small number of services make this work: Stripe for payments, our email provider for correspondence, our hosting provider for this website, and a database provider for storing check results. Each sees only what it needs to do its job.

Some of these providers, including Stripe, our database provider and our hosting provider, may store or process information in the United States, where the laws of that country apply.

We do not use your data to train any AI model, and we do not supply it to anyone who does.

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will, except where we have to keep an invoice record for tax purposes.

If we email you and you would rather we did not, say so by reply. One word is enough, and we will stop and remove you.
